Naming her collection ‘Leuca’ was Sofia’s way of paying ode to her beginnings and roots as it was the name of the village in southern Italy where she first started selling her handcrafted jewelry at the summer market. Over the years educated herself about the intricacies of jewelry crafting and worked diligently towards building her own brand of demi-fine jewelry.
Inspired by the exquisite symmetry and asymmetry of nature, Sofia uses lustrous freshwater pearls from China and charming semi-precious stones from India to imbibe her jewelry with the story of her journey to achieving her dreams and overcoming challenges.
